YCGL- Friday, September 8, 2023 - We’re in Florence
This is going to be short, because I’ve already written two longer ones that have gone out somewhere in the ether.
Erik and I are in Florence. We just got into the room. It’s not the room we wanted, our dear travel agent neglected to mention on the order that we needed a twin room. So instead of looking out over the piazza of the church of Santa Maria Novelle, if you look down, we’re facing a courtyard.
And other things, but we are here.
Dear Sally, I wish you were here. You would be as excited and nervous and thrilled and scared as I am. That’s why it would have been good to have had Erik with Us. Bless you and remembering you. This little trip started three and a half years ago. You’re with us in spirit!
